Caring for your new Tibetan Terrier requires some attention. Whether it is new pup joining the family or a trusty older adult, you need to be prepared for the arrival. These preparations will give you peace of mind. They will also give you more time to help make your new companion feel more at home.

There isn't much that needs to be addressed. Getting the right equipment will make the first few days easier. Crate, collar, leash, food and water dishes, food, and toys are some basics. Check out vets in the area; perhaps you know one you like already. If not ask your breeder, or look for advice from friends in the area. And depending upon your situation, you may need to check on doggie day care, local kennels, dog walkers, training classes and/or puppy kindergartens.
Being a little prepared will make the first few weeks a lot easier.
